About the 100buy Spreadsheet Spares Drawer and its keeper

An independent drawer of spare parts for catalogue items, kept by a reader rather than by 100buy. Below: who writes it, where the sizes come from, and how to report one that is wrong.

Who keeps this drawer

This site is written and kept independently, by someone who buys through shopping agents and would rather replace a slider than a coat. It is not run by 100buy, 100buy does not pay for it, and nobody at 100buy sees a page before it goes up. Outbound links carry this site’s name as a tag: it shows which drawers are used and does not change what you pay.

For help with a purchase, contact 100buy through your official account. This guide cannot access orders.

100buy’s operator on record

100buy’s Service Terms say the service is operated by SIMPLELOGISTICS TECH LTD. On the UK Companies House register, checked 19 October 2026, that company appears as an active private limited company under number 16701633. We give the name and number so you can look it up yourself; we do not reprint addresses or phone numbers.

For help with an order, 100buy points to its support address, [email protected], and to the Aftersale button on each order once you are logged in. 100buy does not list support hours; order processing follows Beijing working hours. None of those channels reach this site, and this site has no access to any 100buy account.

What makes a useful spreadsheet for parts

How to judge a catalogue or a guide like this one, ours included: does it give sizes you can check, does it date what it says, does it admit what it was unable to check, and does it keep rankings and prices out of things that change daily? A spreadsheet of finds that cannot tell you which measurement a part needs is a picture book, however well it is laid out.

Use the measurement, source date and unresolved question to judge the parts guidance. This site cannot inspect your physical part or handle an agent order. Send account-specific questions through the official service, keeping the order and exact dimension together.

Words used in this drawer

A short glossary of the jargon on these pages, both the parts trade’s and the shopping-agent world’s.

Slider
The part that runs along a zip and locks the teeth together. Sized by the closed-tooth width.
Chain
The two rows of zip teeth. Coil, moulded or metal.
Ligne (L)
Button size unit: 1L = 0.635 mm, 40L = one inch.
Tack button
A jeans button held by a pin through the fabric, hammered rather than sewn.
Press stud
Another name for a snap fastener: cap, socket, stud and post.
Aglet
The stiff tip on a lace or cord.
Cord lock
The spring toggle that holds a cord at a hem or hood. Sized by its hole.
Webbing
Flat woven strapping on bags and caps. Its width names the buckle.
Ladder lock
A strap adjuster that threads onto webbing without sewing.
Lug width
The inside gap between a watch’s lugs, which sets the strap width.
Spring bar
The sprung pin holding a strap between the lugs.
Findings
Jewellery trade word for clasps, jump rings, earring backs and similar.
Gauge
Wire thickness on a numbered scale; a higher number is thinner.
QC photos
Warehouse photos of your item, the agent’s quality check.
GL / RL
Buyer shorthand for passing (green) or failing (red) an item on its warehouse photos.
Stocked in
The order status when an item reaches 100buy’s warehouse; return requests are timed from it.

Questions this drawer had to settle

Not a list of frequently asked questions from a mailbox: these are points we had to decide ourselves while writing the drawer, answered briefly. Open any of them.

Does 100buy sell spare parts itself?

No. 100buy buys from marketplace sellers on your behalf; the parts come from those sellers. This drawer explains what to look for in their listings.

Can the warehouse fit a part for me?

No. The warehouse checks, stores and packs what arrives for you; it does not repair things you already own, and nothing on this site assumes it will.

Why are electronic parts missing?

Because electronic spares are device-specific and often powered, which puts them outside a drawer about plain hardware sold by measurement.

Why no prices?

Part prices change daily and are tiny next to postage. The useful number is the size, not the price.

Why only plain parts?

Because lettered or logo hardware is part of someone else’s trademark, not a spare. The ordering page explains the rule.

100buy notices, coupons and its community server

100buy posts official notices on its help pages, and the ones that matter for a parts order are about timing. Its 2026 Spring Festival notice, for example, said orders would pause from 12 to 23 February and resume on 24 February, with online support carrying on, which is exactly when a cheap part from a small seller stalls. Coupons come and go weekly, mostly against shipping; we do not list their values because they would be out of date before you read them.

For community chat, 100buy links a Discord server called 100Buy (invite link, checked 19 October 2026). We link it because it is the official channel; we do not quote its member count or treat what is said there as a review. Reddit threads and video reviews of agents exist too, but none of them could tell us anything about spare parts that a measurement could not.

Revisions to this drawer

Last updated 19 October 2026, the day the drawer went up with ten pages and the part finder on the home page, every 100buy detail re-read that same day. The help pages 100buy publishes carry no dates of their own, so each quote here gives the date we read it instead.

  • 19 October 2026: first version. Inspection, value-added, fee, PayPal, return, storage and terms pages re-read; shipping estimate and exchange rate re-checked; operator checked on the Companies House register.

Later revisions will be listed here with what changed, so you can see whether a page you rely on has moved since you last read it.

Writing to the keeper

For help with a purchase, contact 100buy through your official account. This guide cannot access orders.

We cannot help with a 100buy order, a payment or a parcel: those go to 100buy through its own support channels, listed in the operator section above. When something goes wrong with an order, 100buy’s own channels are the ones that can act on it.

How to judge this guide and a buying service

A useful Spreadsheet links to a real seller item, preserves the selected option and explains what its pictures establish. For small replacement parts, the most useful page makes the unresolved question visible instead of replacing it with a score or a “best” label.

  • Choose a seller who answers the exact product question and identifies the option, quantity and applicable remedy. A sales count or a polished gallery alone cannot confirm this.
  • Compare buying services by whether they accept your item and destination, which inspection they offer, total payment cost, parcel options and written support conditions. Use a local seller when you need a physical trial, local warranty handling or a service the agent cannot confirm.
  • Use the 16 categories to discover options, the buying guide for the transaction and the local tool and notes for the site’s specialist check. None of them certifies an individual seller or product.

Community feedback: what is established

During the 22 October 2026 review, public Reddit searches did not yield a sufficiently verifiable 100buy shopping case to publish here with an original post, posting date and attributable outcome. This is an evidence gap, not a positive or negative rating of the service. Experiences about another agent have not been substituted.

When checking a discussion yourself, follow the original post and its author’s later updates. Separate payment, seller procurement, warehouse storage and international transit. Note the posting date, destination, item type and any referral or sponsored relationship. A single delivery or refund story cannot establish the normal result, and an unanswered complaint does not establish its eventual outcome.

Updates and official notices

This content review was completed on 22 October 2026. It refreshed the official inspection, fee, photo-service and return articles used in the buying guide; removed repeated text pictures; and clarified decisions where the previous wording inferred an outcome without evidence. Older specialist references keep their original dates rather than being presented as newly tested.

Check 100buy’s official site for maintenance, holiday and service notices before paying or releasing a parcel. Read a coupon’s expiry, minimum spend, eligible routes and exclusions on the actual offer. No current discount value, future review schedule or service response time is promised by this site.
